Picture a quaint, little farm in England. Picture the woman who owns this farm baking delicious pies and treats in her home-turned-bakery and eating them on her front lawn. Sounds inviting, doesn’t it? That’s exactly the vibes I got from this shoot. That feeling of actually being there and having an experience with that country, vintage environment. It may sound odd, but at times I felt like I was really there.
This shoot infuses fun and whimsy into a typical tea party scenario by littering sheep into the mix! With the help of a couple good natured models clad in luxurious gowns, an adorable picnic setting, and a few playful sheep, Lexi transformed an ordinary gathering into something entrancing.
There was inspiration in abundance over at the Provo Orchard on this beautiful day in April. And despite the fact that most of the grounds were still closed, it was still wonderful. I’m so thankful for the amazing models who were game for anything. It is always so much fun when I have more than one or two people to take pictures of! While the real lure was the sheep (bouncy baby lambies!), Lexi’s photogenically cozy picnic setup was out of this world.
If you had told me several years ago that I would spend my days running around in the woods capturing beautiful people drinking tea and petting sheep, I would have thought you were crazy. But here I am now, smack dab in the middle of it all loving every moment of it… even if I do end up covered in dirt and scratches (and unfortunately, lamb pee)!
