This bright, crisp October wedding at Alexander Homestead actually started at 4:45am for Natalie and her bridesmaids. Even with the early start, neither Natalie nor Tommy could keep the smiles off their faces. They were getting married! We got everything set up quickly so that we could enjoy the morning light streaming in through the windows and reflecting off the sunflowers placed around Alexander Homestead.

This beautiful ceremony at Alexander Homestead was absolutely perfect. When Natalie walked down the aisle, Tommy couldn’t wait for her to arrive. Reality started to hit, and he teared up at seeing his bride. In fact, he was so excited to marry her, he left his spot at the front to meet her and her parents before taking Natalie’s hands in his.

The officiant talked about their long history of love and commitment, and how everything had prepared them for this moment. It was such an touching moment that everyone at Alexander Homestead that morning felt like they were part of something special.

After they said “I do” and kissed, it was time to party! We walked over to the Alexander Homestead reception hall on the other side of the property, taking some beautiful photos along the way. Their reception was one of the most fun ones I’ve ever been to. Everyone had such a good time celebrating with Tommy and Natalie. It was clear that everyone there felt like family!

I had the pleasure of working with Natalie and Tommy on their wedding day at Alexander Homestead, and it was truly a memorable experience. They are both such wonderful people, and they made me feel so welcome. It was so inspiring to see them come together as a couple and share such a beautiful moment with their closest friends and family. I wish them all the best in their new life together!
