It’s an honor for me to get to witness these special moments from Lauren and Casey’s ceremony and their reception at the Longview Country Club in Charlotte. The emotion you see from these two is why I’m so excited about this wedding! We were able to witness not only their vows, but also some truly special memories before they even made their way down the aisle.

My favorite moment was when Lauren gave Casey a love note that she wrote for him before their ceremony! While she enjoyed a glass of bubbly with her girls at the hotel, he had few moments to himself so he could read it in private. I think this really helped him feel the full impact of their marriage, as he couldn’t contain himself when she walked down the aisle.

The Reception at Longview Country Club in Charlotte

I love weddings, and I especially love weddings where the couple and their guests have a great time. I was lucky that this reception at the Longview Country Club in Charlotte was exactly that type of celebration! The groom and his groomsmen always played golf together, so they had personalized golfballs made for themselves. They hung out on the course before the reception started to blow off some steam together.

Lauren and Casey also had a really high energy entrance to their reception, complete with music from the band playing in front of them as they entered. The reception hall at the Longview Country Club in Charlotte is beautiful! The entire place looks like a Tudor style castle. Everyone had fun dancing in such a lovely venue!

I’ve been photographing weddings for a while now, so you could say I’m pretty used to the whole process. But when I went to Charlotte’s Longview Country Club, I was blown away by the venue’s beauty. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, and it made for an amazing wedding day.

I hope to come back here again because it was such an incredible experience!
