Carisil + Edgar

Engagement Session

I hopped on a plane to capture these engagement pictures on the beach in Texas, and photograph the love story of my best friend, Carisil, and her incredible fiancée, Edgar. I’ve known Carisil since high school. And even though we now live states away, we’ve only become closer and closer friends throughout the years. You can imagine how thrilled I was when she told me she was engaged, and how excited I was to be able to photograph them!

Carisil and Edgar are the epitome of class and love, so naturally, they had the most soft, elegant outfits for their engagement pictures on the beach. And let’s not forget Carisil’s dress – she had Edgar’s mom sew a slit into it that very morning, just so it could flutter in the breeze. How dreamy is that?

It’s a good thing Carisil and Edgar were expecting their engagement pictures on the beach in Texas to have wind- because there was a lot of it. We tried to carefully position her so that the breeze worked in our favor instead of blowing her hair into both of their faces, but it was a struggle getting that perfect moment for every shot!

Luckily both of them have this effortless, calm energy, and didn’t let the hecticness of the outside get to them. They giggled and twirled on the sand together, and you could instantly see how these two fell in love.

Carisil, it makes me so happy you’ve found yourself such a sweet and strong person to spend your life with. You two deserve an absolute lifetime of love and bliss. Even in these engagement pictures on the beach, you are already so stunningly gorgeous- I can’t imagine how beautiful of bride you’ll be at your wedding! I can already feel myself tearing up just imagining your ceremony. I can’t wait!!
