Everyone knows the old saying when you’re getting married, you need “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.” Bailey had the perfect something blue for her bridal photos- a classic car passed down to her through her father and her grandfather. Not only was it a lovely heirloom wedding gift, it was such a fun addition to traditional bridal portraits. It looked gorgeous parked right in the front of her wedding venue, Camelot Meadows.
Even though her father had carefully driven the car to the venue in preparation for her photos, Bailey still didn’t want him seeing her in her dress until her actual wedding day! This meant once he positioned the car, we had to sequester him to the other side of the venue so Bailey could take her bridal portraits with the classic car without being seen. Her light blue flowers in her bouquet perfect complimented the look, and the many gorgeous spots around the wedding venue matched the fun vibe perfectly.
Bringing the classic car to her bridal photos was such a fabulous idea on Bailey’s part. Old timey classic cars like this one can sometimes have engine issues, and as it happened, we were unable to photograph the car on her wedding day! Luckily we were able to capture it and Bailey’s beautiful wedding look together during her bridals, so her lovely “something blue” is still preserved. Cars are so fun to photograph with, and I absolutely adored how these bridal photos with Bailey’s classic car turned out!
