I can’t believe it’s already been over 6 months since I hiked Havasupai with Carisil and Coulter. But this time, instead of sweeping canyons and sparkling waterfalls, we were surrounded by green trees and golden light. To create a romantic feel, we went to the Mercer Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Houston, right next to the library I always used to visit as a kid. We had less than 30 minutes to do this shoot, and they were trying to kick us out from the moment we got there. We were ducking and dodging and rushing away from the closers like fugitives the whole time! Luckily, we were still able to enjoy a few minutes of sunlight and get some gorgeous photos in the few minutes we had left.
Carisil and I had gone out together to buy her a dress that perfectly matches my style guide, and I was drooling by the end of the session! I mean, look at those sparkles!! I’m a sucker for elegant glitter dresses. The lighting and colors were so gorgeous! Even more beautiful than the setting was the love I witnessed between Carisil and Coulter. I do photoshoots with them frequently, and Coulter is always so sweet. Every time! Even though photos aren’t his thing, he has a great attitude and goes along with everything, because he knows how important it is to Carisil.
Carisil and Coulter, thank you for being some of my dearest friends and for following me on this photography journey. I always have so much fun taking pictures of you because of how kind and sweet you are, both to me, and to each other. I can’t wait to go on more exciting adventures together!
