Carolina Country Weddings began when Melanie and Paul Newman renovated their beautiful 427 acre country-side property into a wedding venue for their own daughter. The lovely affair worked out so well, they decided to open up their venue to the public, and have been serving happy North Carolina couples since 2013!
The main building you'll see at Carolina Country Weddings is the barn. With ample space, and warm lighting, it's the perfect indoor spot. Rain or shine, you'll have a great option here at the barn.
Nestled away and surrounded by trees, many couples choose to have their ceremony in the private intimacy of the forest on site.
Carolina Country Weddings has a beautiful patio right in front of the barn. Bistro lighting is strung overhead, making it feel romantic and a perfect place for either a ceremony or reception depending on your guest count.
If the weather is nice, you can even open up the doors of the barn to the outdoors. This will expand your reception area and provide an amazing view of the beautiful patio.
To the left of the main barn, you'll see the Small House. This area is smaller, and has more of a homey feel than the barn. There is an upstairs area for some privacy, and a small kitchen.
One of the most iconic sights of Carolina Country Weddings is it's rolling hills acting as a backdrop to the Meadow. You'll see this huge space located right behind the Barn and the Small House. Whether you want to set up a ceremony here or just take photos, this view will never disappoint.
Carolina Country Weddings does include a bridal suite on the property, as well as overnight options, so many of my couples will choose to have their getting ready photos taken there. If you are looking for a nearby hotel for photos instead, or need a hotel block for your guests, you might consider
