Eleven years and three beautiful daughters later, CJ and Kenneth took a break from their hectic life to spend some time soaking each other in during an anniversary trip to Moab. Even though it has been eleven years, CJ still remembers the beginning of their relationship, even down to what he was wearing! He had a broken nose when they first met in a crowded dance hall, but his politeness when asking her to dance won her over. He must have been a pretty good dancer, because CJ says at the end of the night “We exchanged numbers and said our goodbyes, not knowing that this would be the true beginning of the rest of our lives”.
Time flew after that. Every day was an opportunity to grow closer, and they quickly became best friends. A short while later, they decided they couldn’t bear the thought of being without one another, and they got engaged. Despite careers taking Kenneth to Korea, and CJ to Texas, their relationship solidified to be even stronger than it was before. Over a decade of marriage and I’m sure they’ve seen their hard times, but when they look at their beautiful children and the wonderful life they’ve built together, I imagine they can’t help but feel proud at what they’ve accomplished.
CJ and Kenneth, seeing the love you two still have for each other after eleven years makes my heart so happy. I’m so glad you were able to recreate those all of those wedding day feelings in such a stunning place. Here’s to another decade together!
Congratulations to your beautiful love! I am so happy for you! I pray your love grows stronger every year! I love you both, and so proud of you! And of course the girls ❤️❤️❤️💕😍
