At this engagement session in Charlotte’s most popular rose garden

The summer sun was just as hot as the love between Danielle and Phillip. We were sweating, but you couldn’t even tell when you looked at these two! The air was filled with the beautiful scents of the roses and laughter from the Charlotte rose garden guests picnicking around us.

The whole day was picture perfect for their engagement session. We had planned their photos at McGill Rose Garden in Charlotte because of the beautiful scenery and variety of backdrops! In spite of the heat, these two kept their energy and smiles up the entire time. Danielle and Phillip’s joyful love also helped make my work easy, which led to some great photos.

Real Love at the Charlotte Rose Garden

Danielle’s favorite thing to do is travel, and Phillip is so supportive of that dream. She even collects postcards, so Phillip goes out of his way to bring her back one from each work trip! So it was absolutely perfect when Phillip decided to propose to her while they were traveling- on a cruise to the Bahamas.

Danielle grew up in Nebraska, where Busch Light beers were a staple! Phillip had never tried them before he met Danielle, but they quickly became a part of their story. They had the adorable idea to bring two of those beers to toast to their engagement during their session! Their engagement session in the Charlotte rose garden was the perfect setting, and I loved getting to know these two soon-to-be married friends.

I had an amazing time photographing you two! You guys really looked like a vision kissing together amongst the roses her at this Charlotte rose garden. I have no doubt you two are going to be the most beautiful bride and groom at your upcoming wedding! Don’t forget to cherish every moment!
