Engagement Session

While online dating may not work for everyone it was destiny for these two. A right swipe by Emily and another by McKay would be actions that changed their lives forever. After their match on Mutual these two had an instant connection. They went on their first date at the Springville Art Museum, so it was the perfect place to go back and take their engagement photos. The museum had an elegant charm, and gorgeous pieces of art decorated every room.

Emily and McKay fell in love after that first date. Soon, Emily started to suspect that McKay might be planning a proposal. Then one night when they were hanging out, McKay answered a phone call from his Mom on speaker. The first words out of her mouth were “McKay! I heard you just bought a ring!” Haha, that pretty much confirmed Emily’s suspicions! Now it was up to McKay to still make it a surprise.

A few weeks later, and after a fun day spend together, McKay decided that some takeout was in order. His late night pizza delivery was a sly way to ask Emily something she would never forget. Mackay had arranged for “marry me” to be written on the inside of the pizza box so he could propose as soon as she opened it! And although Emily knew a new ring might be on the horizon, she never expected this creative proposal!

Emily and McKay are a perfect match. McKay is always there to help Emily no matter the situation. He is the light in her life just like she is the light in his. Emily is always by his side and is always sad when they have to part. I had a blast photographing you two, and I can’t wait until your upcoming wedding!
