Engagement Session

Janet and Matt’s story began right here at this beautiful South Carolina Riverwalk. This is where sparks flew on their first date, so this was the perfect place to capture their engagement images in Rock Hill, SC. They strolled along the serene trails, the sun shining through the leaves around them, and Matt told me about his thought process through their first date.

With the enchanting views as their backdrop, Matt began their first day together with a nature walk- but starting at the other end of the riverwalk trail. He decided that if their date went well, he would invite Janet to lunch at one of the charming restaurants at the end of the walk. Well, surprise surprise, it went splendidly, and their love story started to blossom!

Fast forward to another magical moment at the same spot… their engagement proposal! Matt stopped Janet at the top of the amphitheater stairs to gift her a photograph and get down on one knee. Unfortunately, Janet had an unexpected mishap, and cut her finger while she was unwrapping her present right before the proposal! So while it was still a lovely occasion, we decided to recreate that proposal in these Rock Hill, SC images- but this time without the bloody finger!
