Bridal Session
June, 2020

We were out on a mission. A mission to find the Alpine Poppy Fields. We didn’t know exactly where they were located, but we knew the general area. So we picked a parking spot, Melissa put on her heavy duty bright yellow tennis shoes underneath her dress, and we started hiking out to where we though they were. It took us a while, but with some help from a couple of friendly strangers, photo breaks at some pretty spots on the way, and a couple miles worth of hiking later- we found it. Only to discover that, sadly, the poppies had been almost completely trampled over! Honestly though, the surrounding area was so incredibly beautiful that the poppies weren’t even my favorite spot! We had discovered a beautiful gem of a place. With golden sunlight, soft green grass, and a stunning mountain backdrop, we didn’t even miss the poppies at all.

Melissa looked like an ethereal goddess floating through the trees. Her dress almost floated around like a cloud, complimented by the delicate lace on her bodice. After our hiking adventure, I was covered in sweat, but Melissa just glistened like a diamond in the desert! I could tell she was the adventurous, always happy type, and that totally helped make her photos so bright and joyful!

Melissa, I had so much fun on this adventure with you. We found an absolutely stunning place, and it didn’t even hold a candle to how beautiful you looked in it! Even though we didn’t really find the poppies we were looking for, I think we found something even better. These gorgeous photos are some of my favorites!
