Michael’s heart was pumping in his chest, anticipation rising as Melissa snuck up behind him. He was able to see his bride for the first time. Melissa placed her hand gently on his shoulder and turned him around to face her. Immediately, it was so clear on his face how genuinely he loves her, his mouth completely dropped open in shock and tears started to fill his eyes!

They took a few minutes before the ceremony to calm their nerves and spend a quiet moment together. When Melissa finally walked down the aisle towards her future husband, the couple had the perfect mindset of overwhelming love, filled with thoughts of “I can’t believe how lucky I am!”

Michael’s daughter, Izzy, watched from behind her dad as the two exchanged vows. She had the perfect view to see Melissa’s huge smile light up her face as Michael slid the ring onto her finger and swooped her up in their first kiss as husband and wife!

Melissa and Michael rode the newly-wed high the rest of the night! We made sure to sneak in some husband and wife photos before the dancing started. Armed with her gorgeous lace dress and her Grandmother’s ring tied around her bouquet, Melissa made the most beautiful glowing bride. Michael could not keep the smile off his face as we explored the entrancing grounds of Heritage Gardens.

Family and friends celebrated the merging of this new family with their signature drink of the night- Tequila Sunset. The dancing was briefly interrupted by the couple cutting into their gorgeous (and delicious!) cake, but we soon got back to the party! At the end of night, the two ran out to start their married life through a shower of sparks that gave the perfect romantic light for their escape.

Melissa and Michael, seeing you two together on your wedding day truly made my heart soar. It’s clear to see that there is real, actionable love between the you guys that will last a lifetime. The way you both look at each other is really something special, I am so happy for the two of you!
