It’s been a long and winding road for these two! Although they basically had love at first sight, they had plenty of roadblocks in the way before they were able to tie the knot. Nicolla and Stetson got engaged right before Covid started, so they’ve had a crazy time of juggling local restrictions with how they wanted their dream day to go. Nicolla says “We are so excited to finally marry each other! At this point we feel like we have planned 3 weddings. Our original (delayed 1 year due to COVID), the second (after a 1 year delay, our original venue went out of business), and this one (which feels so much more right). I am also excited to see our families together.”
The bride and groom chose the Millcreek Inn because it had that perfect blend of rustic and classy. It was really important to them that they chose a place with enough room for all of their friends and family to gather with them. Nicolla especially really wanted to include her family in the celebration as much as possible, and since many of them were unable to fly from Scotland, she went through the trouble of having a video camera set up to capture the ceremony for them! You’ll see her Scottish heritage in her Dad’s traditional attire as he walked her down the aisle, to the bagpipes that could be heard throughout the premises as the bride got dressed.
Nicolla and Stetson, you guys are some of the sweetest and most fun people I’ve met! (Not to mention, y’all throw one wild dance party!) I really feel like I got to know you two through the process, and I am so honored to have been able to capture your beautiful relationship. I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness and adventuring together!
