The wind whipped Shelby’s dress around her ankles and fine red sand from the Moab desert blasted her bare arms. The sand may have stung, but the couple powered through with smiles on their faces as we trekked on through the red rock. David couldn’t keep his eyes of of Shelby’s baby blues, and as her hair swirled around them, they looked like they were in their own little world. I have to admit, although the weather was difficult to work around, it made for some amazingly epic wind blown shots.
We had made the journey all the way from Salt Lake to Moab, so we weren’t just going to stop at the state park! After we had got our fill of the sandy mountains, we hopped in the car and drove over to find one of the most gorgeous sights I have ever seen- Dead Horse Point. Perched on the mountain that high up may seem terrifying, but behind Shelby and David is actually a wide ledge only a couple feet down! We could see this gorgeous view without too much fear of falling at all.
I am so happy to have found such a breath-taking and beautiful place I can remember forever! Shelby and David, you guys made a striking couple and I am so thankful for this opportunity to explore Moab with you two.
