Nick and Caroline’s surprise proposal at the rooftop bar, Merchant and Trade, was nothing short of magical. The afternoon was beautiful, with a clear sky and the sunset twinkling off of buildings in the background, creating the perfect romantic setting. Nick had carefully planned every detail, making sure that every moment would be special and unforgettable. From the way he led Caroline to the perfect private spot, to the heartfelt words he shared before getting down on one knee, you could see just how much thought he put into making this a moment they’d cherish forever. The look on Caroline’s face when he proposed was pure joy, and their happiness filled the night. It was a perfect proposal in every way.

After Nick and Caroline were officially engaged, the surprises didn’t stop! Nick had thoughtfully planned a romantic dinner at a nearby restaurant, La Belle Helene, where their closest family and friends were waiting to celebrate with them. As soon as the happy couple walked in, they were surprised with cheers, hugs, and so much love from everyone who had been in on the big secret. The dinner was filled with laughter, toasts, and stories, making the night an incredibly memorable evening for Caroline. Nick’s planning made the whole experience feel so personal and unforgettable, giving Caroline not only a beautiful proposal but a celebration surrounded by everyone they hold dear. It was a perfect way to start this new chapter together.

I feel incredibly grateful to have been able to capture such a sweet moment for Nick and Caroline—a couple so full of life and love. Photographing their proposal and seeing the joy on their faces was truly special, and it’s clear just how much fun they have together. I know their future is going to be filled with so many more incredible moments.
