There are SO many things that go into planning a wedding. When I got married a few years ago, I was so overwhelmed and it was one of those things where I felt like I didn’t even know what I didn’t know. I personally am checklist person, my mind works in bullet points and visual plans. I actually made this wedding planning checklist for myself when I married my husband! And now I’m sharing it with you!
There will definitely be things on this checklist that you don’t need to worry about, and I’m sure you’ll also have things that aren’t on my list! The most important part of a checklist like this is deciding what takes priority. I recommend going through this list and marking the top 3 things that are important to you. Take care of those 3 things first! Then you can move on to the next 3 items, and so on and so forth. If you look at this list without those priorities in your mind, it’s gonna be real overwhelming. Start simple. Start with 3.
This is also a great strategy to spend your wedding day budget wisely too. By purchasing your top 3 priorities first, you make sure that there’s enough money to make your top 3 wishes come true! Just go as far as you can with the rule of 3s. Then, after all is said and done, anything left on the list that you didn’t get to or didn’t have the budget for is at least something that wasn’t a huge priority.
Enjoy! And don’t forget to download your own printable version at the bottom!
