Emily and McKay wandered around the temple grounds in Provo, on cloud nine after getting married at long last. After their engagement photos and first look photos, they were already pros in front of the camera. But today was different. Today they were taking photos as husband and wife. Emily was prepped with her gorgeous lavender bouquet, and McKay had a special pin made from the stone of the temple they had just gotten married in. Once photos at the temple were done, we headed over to their beautiful reception held in Riverbrook Event Center in Spanish Fork. We were greeted at the reception hall by a stunningly elaborate charcuterie board and dancing friends and family. Emily and McKay danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones on this lovely summer night.
When they weren’t outside watching the sunset set over the mountains, they were indoors chatting with friends and family. The sun shown through the huge windows indoors so we always had plenty of light inside. The bride and groom weren’t overly fond of cake- so they came up with an idea that suited them better. Instead of cutting a cake together, they would cut their favorite dessert, a brownie. A perfect example of a couple working together and compromising!
Emily and McKay, thank you so much for entrusting your beautiful photos to me for your special day. You guys are so good together. You two seemed so happy and I hope that feeling continues with you for the rest of your life! Congratulations again to the beautiful bride and groom!
