Leading up to the Proposal at Marshall Park in Charlotte

This proposal at Marshall Park in Charlotte is one I will never forget! Love can persist through vast distances, but when you really love someone, you want to be close to them– and Heather and Corey’s relationship is a great example of this! Heather was living in South Carolina and Corey was living in Missouri, but they had big plans to move to Charlotte and start a new life together.

Corey hatched a plan to propose at Marshall Park in Charlotte, a stunning place! He wanted the Charlotte skyline in the photos to represent the new adventure he and Heather would take. I have to imagine that Heather was suspicious the closer they got to the proposal, but she couldn’t imagine just what was in store for her!

With the Charlotte skyline behind the trees, Corey and Heather walked through Marshall Park hand in hand until Corey stopped her on front of the park’s gorgeous fountain. He got down on one knee and asked a stunned Heather to marry him. With tears in her eyes, Heather immediately embraced him in a long kiss. Naturally, her answer was yes!

But the day’s surprises still weren’t over as the happy couple went back to a local rooftop bar to celebrate, only to be greeted by the cheers of friends and family who had come out to share their excitement for the amazing journey these two have ahead of them.

Thank you so much to both Heather and Corey for allowing me to take part in your special day. It is always such a treat to be able to witness the beginning of something so beautiful. Seeing the love in each of your eyes left me smiling for hours afterward! I know that you both will look back fondly on this experience in Marshall Park and your Charlotte proposal for years to come and I wish you both the best of luck on the incredible journey that you have in front of you!
