Engagement Session

It’s October in North Carolina, and you know what that means: fall engagement photos with the changing leaves! We ended up going to Morrow Mountain for Alicia and Joey’s fall engagement session. This is a beautiful overlook with lots of trees and a valley of colorful hills below us. The lookout offered us plenty of places to interact with the fall leaves, which was great because we had a lot of fun posing for some cool shots!

These guys had the cutest outfits for their fall engagement photos. Alicia wore a gorgeous orange dress with boots, while Joey wore a buttoned shirt and khakis. They looked great together! Their cozy outfits perfectly completed the autumn vibes we were going for. The only thing I wish we would have had was a warm cup of apple cider to go along with it!

You might think fall engagement photos in the North Carolina mountains would be cold, but the weather was perfect. It wasn’t chilly outside, but that didn’t stop Alicia and Joey from snuggling each other like it was. The day of their session was perfect: sunny skies, and lots of laughter as Alicia and Joey giggled like teenagers in love! They were all smiles as they frolicked through the leaves (and in a few cases, threw them up in the air). You can tell they are not just partners, but really true friends with each other. They made their engagement session feel like a fun date night!

It was so much fun watching them laugh together and snuggle up as if it were already winter here in North Carolina. You could tell that Alicia and Joey love being outdoors and exploring new places together side by side. I had so much fun during these fall engagement photos, I can hardly wait until their wedding at Camelot Meadows in April!
