North Carolina offers beautiful scenery for outdoor weddings, and Alicia and Joey’s special day was no exception. They chose a stunning venue with a bamboo forest, which added a unique and romantic touch to their wedding. Prior to the ceremony, the couple decided to have a first touch in the bamboo alcove. This intimate moment allowed them to take a deep breath, connect, and prepare for the emotional ceremony ahead!

As the ceremony began, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by their family and friends. The bamboo forest provided a serene backdrop, and the sound of bamboo chimes filtering through the trees created a magical atmosphere. The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding here in North Carolina, with bright blue skies and a gentle breeze. The couple’s main wedding color was baby blue, which complemented the natural surroundings perfectly.

The reception was equally as lovely, with beautiful floral arrangements that incorporated the couple’s baby blue color scheme. Because the North Carolina weather is so temperate in April, guests milled about between the outdoor wedding porch and the indoor reception hall. The food was delicious, and the speeches were heartwarming. As the night went on, the couple danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones, making memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. The most touching part of the reception was their private last dance together, where they held each other close at the end of the day.

Throughout the day, neither Joey nor Alicia could contain their excitement and happiness. Their love for each other was palpable, and their joy was contagious! I can only imagine their cheeks hurt from smiling at the end of the day! This gorgeous outdoor wedding in North Carolina was a beautiful and unforgettable celebration of love, and I wish them both a lifetime of happiness together!
