Becca + Conor

Engagement Session

I just had the best time shooting an engagement session with Becca and Conor taking their photos at Latta Nature Preserve in North Carolina. The weather was perfect, and there were no pesky bugs in sight, thank goodness! These two are high school sweethearts, but they didn’t start dating until later on. Even though they dated long distance for a bit, their relationship grew, and Conor always surprised Becca with visits (how sweet!).

Their first date was downtown Durham, and it was adorable. Dinner, ice cream, and bowling? Yes, please! Conor was so nervous that he ran into a pole, and Becca had to try hard not to laugh (I can’t blame her!). Fast forward to now, and they’re engaged and ready to start the next chapter of their lives together. Their photos at the Latta Nature Preserve were the perfect way to celebrate!

We wandered around Latta Nature Preserve, taking pictures and chatting. Becca and Conor were nervous about being in front of the camera for the first time, but as you can see, they had absolutely nothing to worry about! Not only were they naturals, but the place was stunning! The winding trails, beautiful trees, and serene lake made the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. They were so in love, and it showed in every shot.

As the sun set on the preserve, they took a moment to hold each other close and reflect on their journey. It was such a special day, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two! Their wedding this October is bound to have even more gorgeous photos, and I already am so excited!
