Recently, they decided to take their engagement photos in the breathtaking rose garden in Raleigh, NC, and let me tell you, it was a truly magical experience. Despite the bustling crowds, their love for each other shone so brightly that it felt as if they were the only two souls in the entire rose garden.

As their photographer, I must admit, capturing their love on camera was no easy task. We had to get creative with fancy footwork and camera angles to avoid the busy crowds at the Raleigh NC rose garden, but Emelia and Wakefield were so wrapped up in each other that they made it all feel effortless. But the sweetness didn’t end there! Emelia’s mom surprised me with a handmade bag filled with her homemade granola (the most delicious granola I’ve ever had by the way!) The thoughtful gesture left me feeling incredibly touched and appreciated, I have never felt so cared for by a couple or their family before! It’s moments like these that remind me why I love capturing love stories through photography.
