I was thrilled when Redfin reached out to me to ask some of my favorite hidden gem spots around Charlotte! Although there’s so many amazing places I could list, these are the three spots I recommended because they immediately jumped to my mind. There are even more recommendations from Charlotte locals on their blog, so if you like these suggestions, make sure to check out the other places on their list!
The Best Indian Food at Copper Indian in Charlotte, NC
I’ve tried a LOT of Indian food, but these guys at Copper Indian serve a Sesame-Chili Cauliflower Florets appetizer that had me dreaming about it for months. I’m not a vegetarian or a vegan, but I make sure to get these every time I go! The crispy edges of the fried cauliflower with that sauce… I have a hard time believing anybody could be unhappy with this dish!
Date Night at Twigs and Figs
Twigs and Figs has one of the best date night activities in Charlotte! You can go to build your own terrarium, and design it with succulents, colored sand, rocks, and cool glass structures. They even have a bar so you can sip some delicious drinks while you design! My husband and I still have our little gardens displayed in our house to this day.
Hang Out with Baby Animals at Zootastic Park
You need to make a whole day out of visiting Zootastic Park. We went for my husband’s birthday, and booked an unforgettable experience cuddling a baby kangaroo and a baby spider monkey! As cute as they were though, the lemur encounter was definitely my favorite. Everyone with us raved about how this was a once in a lifetime type of memory we made!
