Wedding – Styled Shoot May, 2022
As photographers, I am always looking to create beautiful images. And while the shoots that I do are always gorgeous, this beautiful purple and green wedding was really inspiring! That’s why I love styled shoots. They allow me to step out of my comfort zone and try something new.
For this shoot, I was in love with the soft mossy green tones and lavender hues. The light touch of those colors really remind me of springtime. Purple and green wedding colors are romantic, fun, and classic – perfect for any wedding. There were so many different elements incorporated into the design that somehow worked together so well! The designers used different textures, like 3D petals on the dress, feathery florals, and lace applique on the cake. The way these different textures come together to create something cohesive and beautiful is truly one-of-a-kind!
When it comes to styling a wedding, inspiration can come from anywhere. I love the idea of using a color palette as your inspiration. For this beautiful couple, the soft purple and moss green color palette really made me think of a classic Italian villa. I feel a purple and green wedding is the perfect color pallet. It’s so soft and romantic. But there’s also a hint of sophistication that makes it perfect for any venue or season!
The details are what make these photos so special! From the hanging floral arrangements above their sweetheart table, to all of the small touches like their custom calligraphy menu cards and the hand folded bow napkins. Everything just came together perfectly!
The purple and green wedding florals were one of my favorite parts of this shoot. There were some amazing florists on board who created the beautiful arrangements you see here! The colors and unique feathery texture were absolutely perfect for the theme and really tied everything together!
When you think of purple and green wedding colors, it might seem like an odd combination at first. But when you start playing with different shades and textures, you realize that there are so many ways to work these two colors together! I hope this amazing creative team brought you some inspiration for your own lavender and green wedding!
