I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing the most heartwarming engagement photos in Huntersville with Shelby and Shawn! Let me tell you, it was a day filled with surprises and pure joy. When I showed up, I was greeted with an awesome surprise- the incredible couple had brought me a gift of his and hers favorite snacks and a giant candle wrapped in pink! Talk about setting the stage for an EPIC day of shooting! I immediately knew they were going to be the sweetest, most loving couple during their Huntersville engagement session, and I was right!

The bride-to-be, Shelby, has a profound love for pink. So of course she dazzled in a stunning pink dress that paired perfectly with Shawn’s baby blue. The lace tulle on her dress was the most beautiful, light material that danced elegantly as they walked. Their upcoming wedding is going to be a symphony of pink shades, and even her engagement ring has a breathtaking pink halo!

But the magic didn’t stop there. You see, Shawn had proposed to her at the beach, making it a place of immense significance to their love story. So, it was only fitting that we took some photos on the sandy lake shore for their Huntersville engagement photos, paying homage to that beautiful proposal.

They chose a lovely golden afternoon for their Huntersville engagement photos, but what truly melted my heart was the way these two looked at each other. Their smiles? Infectious! You could practically feel the love radiating from them. You can tell these are two people who are going to take care of each other and cherish each other for a lifetime!

Even though Shelby and Shawn are getting hitched in their hometown in New York, I was absolutely honored to capture their engagement photos right here in Huntersville! What a privilege to see even just a small bit of their loving relationship. I wish them so many happy, pink-filled years together in love!
